Boundless Reality is a curated VR social media platform which helps existing content creators and influencers to create 360 content and provide a platform to share this content.

Working as a Lead VR engineer at Boundless Reality, I was responsible for designing and developing the first viewer platform in VR. Here are some of the features:

  • Browse a list of videos uploaded on a custom backend
  • Browse a list of content creators
  • Sort videos based on categories
  • Sort videos from individual influencers
  • Stream 360 videos
  • Control video playback
  • Collect analytics of app usage

Being the first engineer on the team, I worked closely with the CTO in all aspects of the business including, but not limited to, hiring more talent, strategizing releases, designing the system, prototyping ideas for other platforms like HoloLens, Oculus and Vive, etc. I worked closely with a UX designer and a backend engineer to implement this system. Part of my job was to also advise the company on AR/VR trends, capabilities and complexities of various concepts and implementation.
